The container body is constructed from weathering steel (Corten), which forms a protective patina over time to resist atmospheric corrosion. Door gaskets create a seal against moisture and dust ingress, helping to protect stored contents. The floor system consists of marine-grade plywood over steel cross members, with a rubber liner applied to the interior surface. This liner adds a layer of protection against abrasion, chemical spills, and moisture while improving traction underfoot.

The structural integrity of this container remains intact, with no modifications to the frame or corner castings. Corner castings are ISO-compliant for lifting, stacking, and securing during transport. The exterior finish is uniform and clean, with surface wear consistent with a used container in good operational condition. Repairs have been completed where necessary to ensure full watertightness and door operability.

This container is suitable for static storage applications as well as intermodal shipping. When used for storage, it provides a lockable, weather-resistant space for tools, inventory, equipment, or seasonal goods. For conversion projects, the full side doors offer a wide opening that can serve as a storefront, roll-up replacement, or workshop entry. The unit includes standard ISO markings and owner prefix (LYPU) for identification. All doors open and close smoothly, with locking rods engaging securely. The rubber floor overlay can be easily cleaned with industrial degreasers or pressure washing, extending the service life of the plywood base.
